This restaurant is fantastic!! They’re incredibly welcoming and have made such a nice and comfortable atmosphere. Everything we ordered was incredible- we got falafel, hummus and the mixed grill. I’d order it all again but won’t because I want to try everything else on the menu!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don’t let the strip mall location fool you… Sara’s Mediterranean Grill in Wappingers Falls is absolutely worth the visit. It may not look like much from the outside, but the food more than makes up for it. My wife ordered the quinoa salad and loved it. It was fresh, healthy, and full of flavor. I started with an order of hummus served with warm naan bread, which was excellent. For my entree, I had the lamb shish kabobs over rice with a fresh salad, and everything was cooked perfectly. The lamb was flavorful and seasoned just right. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the entire meal exceeded expectations. Hidden gem for Mediterranean food in the area. We’ll definitely be back!
We had dinner at this amazing place and everything was absolutely perfect! The food was a 10/10 — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each dish was better than the last, and you could really tell how much care went into the cooking. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere made it a great spot to relax and enjoy our meal. We truly loved it and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!
The food was incredible! I highly recommend to try Adana kebab special, and mezze platter is a must try (we would highlight babaganoush and tzatziki, but everything we’ve tried was delicious).We loved the raspberry lemonade also, and Turkish coffee was authentic
Had an amazing vegetarian meze dinner at Sara’s! We ordered a combination of 2 cold and 2 warm appetizers, plus each getting a bowl of the lentil soup (and another complimentary cold appetizer), and everything was incredibly fresh and had wonderful flavors. Our food came out very quickly but tasting everything made it very clear that it all was homemade with high quality ingredients. The servers were so friendly and attentive, even when most of the tables were full. It was an all around wonderful experience - highly recommend trying out Sara’s!!
Unexpected surprise hidden in the Home Depot plaza. The food was fresh & tasty, the Turkish coffee & Alfragato was delicious and the service was friendly. I definately will come back!

The lamb shank was absurdly tender, the baba ganoush was smoky and rich, and yes, the ezme, beets, and pita remain mandatory ordering. But what really sets this place apart is the heart behind it. On a hard night for our family, a simple unexpected dessert brought genuine comfort and a smile when we needed it most. They don’t just feed your stomach here. They feed your soul. I would go to war for this restaurant. An absolute gem, genuinely some of the best food I’ve had in the area!! I don’t write glowing reviews lightly, but this place absolutely earned one. From the moment the food hit the table, it was obvious this was something special. Every single thing we ordered, from the mezze sampler to the drinks to dessert, felt like the best version of itself it could possibly be. Not one weak note. Even the pita bread was memorable. Warm, soft, fresh, lightly charred, and worthy of praise in a meal FULL of standout dishes. The mezze sampler was EXTRAORDINARY. The beet and goat cheese was one of those bites that makes you stop mid-conversation. The goat cheese was fresh, creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced by roasted beets that were unbelievably sweet and luscious. Honestly, they were almost candy-like. I don’t know what they did to prepare them, but they were incredible. The spicy vegetable dip, Esme, was bright, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. Fresh, zippy, and balanced with just enough heat. The eggplant dip was equally impressive, with a silky texture, subtle tartness, mellow tomato notes, and that gentle pleasant bitterness that makes eggplant so satisfying when it’s done well. This is one of the best meals I’ve had in a VERY long time! Let’s start off with the mint lemonade, so refreshing and revitalizing. I can tell the beverage was freshly pressed. Next on to the pita bread, hummus and tzatziki sauce. It was beautifully presented and tasted scrumptious. The chicken shish kebab meal with rice and roasted vegetables tasted phenomenal. Juicy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spices. If I can give 10 stars I would. I highly recommend eating at Sara’s Mediterranean Grill if you want fresh high quality food with exceptional service. The waiters were extremely patient and this restaurant is also extremely clean.
